What We Do

Our animals are like Santa Claus for adults. Folks of all ages, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc. become curious and then giddy with excitement when they learn they can in fact hug and feed a real-life 350 lb llama… who also enjoys the attention! If you’re looking for a way to make your next event not only memorable but hyped with positive energy, consider inviting a therapy llama or alpaca for your guests.

We arrive 20 minutes before your desired start time. Dressed to impress with a wide range of outfits from unicorns to cowboys, top hats & bow ties, and even custom apparel with your company’s logo on it, we recognize people are instinctively uncertain about things that seem out of place. By dressing up our already touch-friendly animals, we non-verbally let folks know these animals are well-socialized llamas and alpacas, comfortable in the unique environment they are in. This is also a very fun way to add a touch of theme to your guest’s experience.

More than a photo booth, we offer an interactive experience folks llove to have photos during. This is why we come prepared with extra sets of trained hands who use guest phones for instant keepsakes they can enjoy as soon as they walk away. Half of the fun of our job is not only seeing people overwhelmed with excitement when with their new furry friend, but also the giddy laughter as they walk away reliving the moment on their phones.

Pricing

Quotes below are estimates considering up to a 45 minute travel from our farm (You can use the Ilani Casino for a reference point). We travel up to 40 minutes in the summer and can occasionally flex up to 70 minutes during Fall-Spring depending on our current bookings around said event.

Our farm has come to the realization that each event keeps inviting two animals for two hours without many refusals. Because of how much work and effort is placed onto two animals for each event, we are updating our pricing to encourage more one-animal bookings over two animals to allow us to attend more events while offering ample down time for the boys. This will include our cordless ring light for well-lit photos, custom logo attire for the animals for corporate events if desired, and the professionalism we provide during each event to help make your occasion llamazing.

Pricing starts at:

  • One Animal - 60 minutes: $650, 90 minutes: $700, two hours: $750

  • Second Animal - Half Off

How To Plan

Never booked a camelid before and wondering what all goes into inviting such a fancy guest? Well, you’ve come to the right place!

Our llamas and alpacas don’t take much, but these simple needs will help not only accommodate the animals comfort but will enrich the experience of your guests during their appearance.

1. Parking. We request parking when invited to events. We travel conveniently inside vans to enjoy the a/c in the summer or the heat in the winter. This also makes parking so much easier within the city. If you are inviting us somewhere with limited parking, please save two spots to best allow a timely start and end to our visit. This is one spot for our animal van, and one for our assistant.

2. Plan for a line! There is something about animals that is magnetic. Especially when they are dressed up. Allowing space for a line to form is incredibly helpful as guests are happy to wait in line when they can visually see they are only X-amount of spots away from a selfie of their own. When hosting an event with food and beverages, please have a table present at the start of the line for guests to set their plates, cups, and handbags onto. I promise, guests will set these items on the ground and their experience will take longer and be less enjoyable without a proper place to set items down. Please let us know if you would like us to provide said table.

3. No poop left behind. Classy Camelids are just that: classy! They always come fitted with their own customized protective garments. These garments are discreetly hidden behind bushy tails and under their colorful attire that no one is the wiser, allowing most locations to welcome our handsome fellas inside, leaving everywhere they go exactly as they found it. Llamas and alpacas also have padded feet similar to a dog’s that won’t scuff or ruin wood floors or manicured lawns.

4. Prepare to soak in the smiles. All of your preparation has paid off and we can take it from here! When you invite Classy Camelids, we come prepared. From bags of sliced carrots to offer that unique carrot kiss experience everyone will be talking about, to providing extra hands to pass your cell phone to for that photo you can’t wait to share. We have over a decade experience making sure everyone has a safe and joy-filled time.

5. Consider the animal’s backdrop. We are pros at snapping guest photos in the most flattering way possible at events. But consider whether or not you are staging the animals in front of brightly lit windows, bathrooms, or trash cans. For an easy fix, consider having a 10ft tall, 8-10ft wide backdrop. This is the ideal size for everyone to have a beautiful keepsake photo taken for them of your event.

We understand this is a new experience for most and do our best to allow each and every person to experience the llama llove while getting the opportunity to learn about llamas and alpacas and how your event is helping to share these animals as therapy animals throughout the community. Win. Win. Win.
