Healthcare Visits
We llove supporting our healthcare workers with llots of llama llove! It is a proven fact that just 3 minutes in the presence of a festively-dressed llama or alpaca can reduce your stress and anxiety ten-fold. If you don’t believe us, try your best to think about anything else other than feeling pure happiness when hugging one of our gentle giants.
Staff De-Stress
There is something magical about one of the fluffiest and largest animals known to mankind. Our llamas and alpacas are used to the strongest of hugs from some of our most stressful worker teams: healthcare workers.
Therapeutic in nature, our farm began to realize that our animals were becoming more of that which live bands offer: entertainment to distract from the hard times at work and offer therapy through more of a meet-and-greet, photo-taking opportunity. During our healthcare visits, we encourage a space where a line can form to allow staff one-on-one time to take a selfie, hug their stresses out, and feed their new furry friend the carrots we provide. Because of these more entertainment-in-nature visits, we start our pricing with a discounted rate of $500 for one animal for 90 minutes (traditionally $700) for visits through our entertainment Classy Camelids, LLC between the hours of 10:30 am and 2 pm. Rates outside of these times vary based on time of appearance and location. Please inquire below for an accurate quote for your facility stating which week, date, and time you are interested in booking. The more specific, the a more accurate quote we can provide.
We recognize there is a distinct difference between pure and personal therapeutic interactions for one’s pleasure and staff de-stress visits which organically turn into more of a meet-and-greet photo opportunity. A great tell between the two is recognizing which visits will involve a line being formed and photos being taken on cell phones verses visiting person-to-person without photos needing to be staged. Therefore, we classify as such entertainment visits through our Classy Camelids, LLC which helps assist in keeping educational and therapeutic prices low, and therapy-focused visits are volunteer-based through our Mtn Peaks Non-Profit. When considering where your group lies, ask whether or not the animals will be in one place for folks to come engage with them, or whether the animals will go room-to-room or person-to-person for their therapy needs.
Patient Visits
The uniqueness of llamas and alpacas brings new life to those with mental, emotional, and physical needs that may be draining in their day-to-day lives. There’s something about engaging the brain with an exciting animal you want to learn more about to help distract from the physical ailments one is going through. Or giggle over feeling the llama’s lips take a carrot from their hands. We are honored to have such gentle giants for even the most fragile that need this experience the most.
Our Non-Profit visits for patient visits start at $150 for 60 - 90 minutes with one animal. These visits are only able to remain low as we volunteer our time visiting during times we do not commute during peak traffic times mid-week from Ridgefield, WA visiting between 10:30 am and 2 pm. Please keep traffic patterns in mind when inquiring about your school’s visit. Pricing and timing is flexible on a case-by-case base.
